Accessibility Statement
Last updated: July 9, 2026
MPDialer LLC is committed to making Rooster usable by everyone, including people with disabilities. Accessibility is especially important to us because Rooster exists to reach you by voice — a wake-up or reminder that calls and talks to you, rather than a visual alert you have to see and dismiss.
What we do
- Voice-first by design. Reminders and wake-ups are delivered as a spoken phone call, which can be more accessible than an on-screen alarm for users who are blind, low-vision, or who miss visual and silent alerts.
- Screen reader support. The app is built to work with iOS VoiceOver — interactive controls have accessibility labels, and key actions (like confirming a reminder) offer a tap alternative when a screen reader is active.
- Legible, high-contrast UI. We use clear typography, sufficient color contrast, and support the system's larger-text and reduce-motion settings where possible.
- No time-pressure traps. Where an action matters, we avoid gestures that can't be completed by assistive technology.
Standard we aim for
We aim to align with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA as a target for the app's interface, and we treat accessibility as ongoing work rather than a one-time checkbox.
Feedback
Accessibility is never "done." If you encounter a barrier using Rooster, or have a suggestion, please email info@mpdialer.com — tell us what happened and the device and assistive technology you use, and we will work to fix it.
