SMS / Text Messaging Terms
Last updated: July 9, 2026
This page describes the text (SMS) messages MPDialer LLC sends through the Rooster app and your choices about them. It supplements our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
What texts we send
Rooster's text messages are transactional and account-related only — we do not send marketing texts. Specifically:
- Verification codes — a one-time code to confirm you own your phone number when you sign in.
- Account and reminder-related notices where needed to operate the Service.
Your wake-up and reminder alarms are delivered by phone call, not text, unless you specifically choose a text-based reminder in the app.
Consent
By verifying your phone number and accepting the in-app consent, you agree to receive these transactional texts at the number you verified. Consent to texts is not a condition of any purchase.
Message frequency
Message frequency varies based on your use of the Service (for example, one code each time you sign in).
Rates
Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile plan and carrier. Rooster does not charge you for the messages themselves.
Opt out and help
- Reply STOP to any text to opt out of further texts. Note that opting out of verification texts may prevent you from signing in; you can still stop calls by turning reminders off or deleting your account.
- Reply HELP for help, or email info@mpdialer.com.
Carriers
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Supported carriers may change.
Privacy
We do not sell or share your mobile number or text opt-in data with third parties for their own marketing. Texts are delivered through our telecommunications provider (Telnyx). See our Privacy Policy for details.
